That’s how we do it when the main man thinks he is unbeatable. The man the world put 200m gold medal on his neck is USA’s sprint god Noah Lyles. When his name was mentioned, he came out doing his usual pre-race “I’m the best stuff”.

Tebogo is a very calm figure whenever the camera catches him. He is always thinking of winning the task ahead.

He sent a huge warning to everyone yesterday after winning his heat.

Letsile Tebogo of Botswana run 19.46 seconds to win gold medal and it is a new African record on Thursday night at the noisy Stade de France.

USA’s Kenneth Bednarek run 19.62 to lift silver while Noah Lyles run at 19.70 to take home bronze.

USA’s Erriyon Knighton finished 4th. Dominican’s Alex Ogando finished 5th.

The last three slots were occupied by Tapiwanashe Makarawu of Zimbwe, Joseph Fahbulleh of Liberia and Makanakaishe Charambaof Zimbabwe in 6th, 7th and 8th.

Botswana will certainly celebrate tonight as Tebogo did the unthinkable.
