Former WAFA manager, Barnabas Awuni is just an inch away from becoming King Faisal FC new boss.
The Ghanaian gaffer who left his coaching job at Division One League side Swedru All Black’s on mutual agreement after few months of his appointment will be confirmed as new head coach of King Faisal FC in the coming days. Both parties have met and reached agreement expected to announce his appointment.
Awuni will replace coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu who abandoned his job for Sudan national team.
The former Mountaineers technical head has agreed a two-year contract with the Insha Allah boys, expected to safeguard the outfit back to the country’s elite division. King Faisal FC suffered relegation to the lower-tier last season due to poor performance.
Awuni, who has vast experience coaching several clubs in the country will hope to build a formidable team capable to rock shoulders with the rest of Division One League Zone Two teams.
