Resign over this unfair treatment — C/R Regional Chair to Ken Agyapong

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof. Richard Aseidu has admonished the Assin Central Member of Parliament to resign from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and join the NDC.

According to the NDC guru, the NPP has been ungrateful to Kennedy Agyapong who recently lost the election to lead the party as flag bearer.

Addressing the media, Prof. Richard Aseidu alleged Central Region NPP deliberately frustrated Ken’s effort to become a flag bearer despite all he’s done for the party,

According to Kasapa Online, the NDC Regional Chairman labeled NPP delegates in the Central Region as ungrateful people.

However, Prof. Richard Aseidu said that the NPP choosing Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to lead the party will make it easier for the NDC to win.

Bawumia won the NPP presidential primary on Saturday, setting him up for a showdown with former president and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer John Dramani Mahama in the 2024 general election.

He defeated three other candidates, including Kennedy Agyapong, the outspoken Assin Central MP; Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, a former Minister of Agriculture; and Francis Addai-Nimoh, a former Mampong MP.
