Great Olympics come from behind to beatNsoatreman

Accra Great Olympics put on a tremendous performance to secure a 2-1 victory over Nsoatreman FC in the betPawa Premier League at the Accra Sports stadium on Monday.

Despite conceding a goal in the first half, the Dade Boys showed great resilience and extended their unbeaten home streak.

Emmanuel Antwi was the hero for the Wonder Club, scoring a crucial brace in their come-from-behind win.

Nsoatreman FC took the lead against the run of play in the 15th minute when Mohammed Abdul Rahman capitalized on a flicked pass from Mark Agyekum following a long throw-in.

Great Olympics leveled the score in the 55th minute, thanks to a brilliant free-kick from midfielder Emmanuel Antwi, who found the back of the net from the edge of the box.

Antwi completed the comeback with another goal, connecting with a delightful cross from substitute Francis Twene.

The victory elevated Great Olympics to the third position in the league standings with 15 points, just one point behind Nsoatreman FC and three points behind leaders Aduana FC.

Nsoatreman FC will face champions Medeama SC in Tarkwa before hosting Real Tamale United, while Accra Great Olympics will take on Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
