Otumfuo finally reveals the source of the Golden Stool
The source of the Golden Stool, which is the soul and embodiment of the Ashanti Kingdom has been disclosed by the Asnatehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The Golden Stool, according to Otumfuo, was given to the Ashantis by God.
Otumfuo affirmed that the stool is a gift from nature to the kingdom.
The revered King pointed out that, unlike the Ashantis, no kingdom in the world has a Golden Stool.
“God has given us a gift, but you don’t respect it, you don’t cherish what you have. Where in this world can you find a golden stool?” he quizzed.
He stated that because of the Golden Stool, the Ashantis have become envious of the world, including locals and foreigners.
“We are envied in the Ghana that we live in, some wish we could just be ejected. So, if you are in the kingdom, be careful. Isn’t it amazing, that the Whiteman came and tried as much as they could, but all of that led to nothing?
“The Whiteman was with weapons and ammunition but never got to even sight the Golden Stool,” the Asantehene stated in a video shared by Manhyia-based Opemsuo Radio.
