GPL: Nations FC out of relegation zone after 1-0 win over Lions

Nations Football Club have finally climbed out of the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League standings.

This follows a hard-fought win over Heart of Lions on Sunday, November 12.

Nations FC today hosted Heart of Lions at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in the Ashanti Region.

In the Week 10 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghanaian topflight league campaign, both teams played well in a bid to win the game to secure the crucial three points.

Thanks to a solitary strike from Razak Simpson in the 75^th minute, Nations FC cruised to a narrow 1-0 win over Heart of Lions.

The win has propelled the newly-promoted side out of the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, Heart of Lions remains bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.

The team from Kpando since the start of the new league season has failed to win a single game.

If the team wants to escape relegation, the side must improve and win in the next game against Bechem United.
