Nations FC secure narrow win against Gold Stars in Bibiani

Nations Football Club are gradually turning their difficult start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season around.

On Sunday, November 19, the club locked horns with Bibiani Gold Stars at Dun’s Park.

In a Week 11 encounter of the Ghanaian top-flight league campaign today, Nations FC set up strong and fought very hard to cruise to a narrow win.

A solitary strike from Barima Baah in the 10th minute of the first half did the trick for the visitors to ensure the 1-0 win over Bibiani Gold Stars.

Thanks to the win today, Nations FC have won two games in a row for the first time since the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season started.

The team has now climbed to 9th on the Ghana Premier League table.

Nations FC will hope to beat Karala United in the next game of the league to climb higher on the log.

Meanwhile, Bibiani Gold Stars have been pushed into the relegation zone.
