Real Tamale United hammer Dreams FC 3-1

Real Tamale United picked three crucial points on Sunday afternoon after brushing Dreams Football Club aside with a 3-1 victory.

The Tamale-based club today hosted the side from Dawu in a Week 11 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

In a game played at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Real Tamale United had a bright start to the game and scored after just six minutes.

Attacker Eric Owusu Afriyie opened the scoring with a fine strike to give the hosts a deserved lead.

Later in the first half, the striker equalised again to double the lead for Real Tamale United.

Four minutes into the second half, Eric Owusu Afriyie scored again to give RTU a 3-0 lead.

Although Dreams Football Club would score a minute later through an effort from Agyenim Boateng, the team’s efforts to make a comeback did not materialize.

A resilience showing from RTU saw the team sealing a 3-1 win at the end of the 90  minutes.
