Dancehall King, eeeeiiii… superstar Ghanaian Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has been confirmed as the headline act of the 2025 GHALCA President Cup.
The match, which will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on June 6th, is a super clash between Ghana’s most glamorous football clubs, Asante Kotoko of Kumasi and Hearts of Oak of Accra.
The 17th edition of the President Cup, which is organised by the Ghana League Clubs’ Association (GHALCA), will be played to honour the sitting president, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, where he is expected to be in attendance.
One of the biggest African Dancehall artists, Shatta Wale, is due to entertain fans who will be attending the match with his electric performance.
Accra Hearts of has failed to beat Asante Kotoko in the last two years in the Ghana Premier League and will be determined to win the President Cup to appease their fans. Asante Kotoko, on the other hand, won the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup with Karim Zito and will be eager to add the President Cup trophy to it to excite the fans for their failure to win the GPL.
