The 2025 Table Tennis Youth Championships have been producing eyewatering performances from the competitors, with the semi-final stage set to blow the minds of lovers of the sport.

Ghana’s Michael Agyapong Mensah, a student of Opoku Oware Senior High School in Kumasi has been flying high Ghana’s flag having reached the semi-final after eliminating Luwooza Imran of Uganda; 4-3 (10-12, 11-9, 8-11, 12-10, 6-11, 11-6, 11-9) in the quarter finals.

En route to the quarter-finals, Agyapong Mensah defeated Bradley Camille Marseill of Cameroon 3-0 (11-6, 11- 1, 11-4) in the Round of 16, where he announced his presence to his rivals.

A member of the Ahinsan Youth Centre table tennis club, Michael will be up against Rakotondrazaka Rahndy Steffe of Madagascar in the semifinal clash.

Agyapong is optimistic he will book a slot in the finals.
