The 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers will resume in March. Ghana will face Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium and Madagascar in rounds 5 and 6 respectively. Preparations are underway as coaches are planning on how to deal with their opponents.

Ghana’s new Technical advisor, Winfried Schafer arrived in Ghana on Tuesday 25th February to start his job. He is the one tasked to help head coach Otto Addo get the best out of his players.

Reports say that the Ghana Football Association has budgeted a whooping 5M dollars for the three home games left to the Sports Ministry. Ghana will host Chad, Comoros and Mali throughout the year with 9 points target.

The Black Stars sit second in Group I with just goals difference separating them from table toppers Comoros. Both teams have won 9 points from four games played.
