“We all want to go the World Cup, It doesn’t matter how we get there,” said Westham United’s star Mohammed Kudus.

His words were very sweet as he understands Ghanaian’s prayers in the qualifiers. Almost every Ghanaian is supporting the Black Stars at the moment to qualify for the World Cup to be played across countries in North America in 2026.

Kudus is expected to replicate his Westham’s form in Kumasi on Monday at 7 pm.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Otto Addo’s Black Stars will square off against the Central African Republic in crunch class that will change the positions of the teams in the group.

The Group is wide open with Madagascar, Comoros and Ghana all having 6 points. Mali has 4 points from three home games as the Eagles sit 4th on the log.

Otto Addo has hinted on so many occasions that Ghana will approach Madagascar differently making many believe that he is ready to attack them.

Raoul Savoy in September 2023 furiously cursed Ghana to have another disastrous AFCON campaign after he accused Ghana of cheating Central African Republic in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers. This is the man who will once again lead CAR in Kumasi.

His words have haunted Ghana since the latter part of 2023 and early part of 2024. Ghana recorded its first win in the year when they beat Mali 2-1 in Bamako.

Otto Addo’s men must beat them convincingly for Raoul Savoy to finally reverse his curse.

The veteran Jordan Ayew is due to start alongside Kudus, Semenyo and Nuamah in attack.
