Matchday three of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers continued on Friday night with Kenya drawing 1-1 against Burundi in the early game of the day. Duke Abuya’s second-half goal for Kenya was cancelled by Abdallah Sudi’s strike in the 85th minute.

Mozambique won 2-1 against Somalia to level on points with Algeria, Guinea and Uganda. All the four teams are separated by score difference.

Lesotho sits on top of Group C after a 2-0 win over Zimbabwe away from home.

Nigeria and South Africa shared the spoil in Uyo with Dele-Bashiru cancelling Themba Zwane’s first-half goal in the second half. Lesotho surprisingly leads the group.

Mabululu’s first-half goal helped Angola beat Eswatini 1-0.

Raveloson scored twice to help Madagascar beat Comoros 2-1 to move to the top of Group I.

Muhammed Shaban’s second-half goal helped Uganda win 1-0 over Botswana.

Frank Kessie assisted Seko Fofana to score and record an important 1-0 win for Ivory Coast against Gabon. The Elephants are three points ahead of Gabon.

Hakim Ziyech and Ellesse Ben Seghir scored in each half respectively to give Morocco a 2-1 victory over Avram Grant’s Zambia. The Atlas Lions are on top of the group with 6 points after winning their two games played so far.
