Brazil and Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior on Tuesday night was named the men’s Best FIFA Player of the Year.
Vini Jnr, 24, was snubbed for the 2024 Balon d’or where Manchester City midfield maestro Rodrigo Cascante won. The Brazilian forward got his revenge after finishing ahead of the Manchester City midfielder.
Vinicius Junior finished ahead of Balon d’or winner Rodri and English midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho won the Puskas Awards, Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelloti was voted for as the Coach of the Year while Aitana Bonmati of Barcelona was crowned as the women’s Best Player of the Year.
