French forward Mbappe has revealed the main reason why he left French giants Paris St Germain for Real Madrid in the 2024 summer transfer window.
Surprisingly, Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent after PSG had failed in so many transfer windows to reach an agreement with the Los Blancos for his transfer.
The 25-year-old former Monaco striker has never hidden his love for Real Madrid as it has been a childhood dream to wear the famous white uniform.
“I left PSG to go to the biggest club in the world, my dream was to go to Real Madrid,” Mbappe said.
Unquestionably, Real Madrid is the biggest football club in the world, as they have dominated European football since the early 1950s. The club has become so appealing to many footballers making it a dream move for almost every player.
“My teammates have done everything to integrate me well; the locker room is great; everyone has made me feel at home”, said the French forward.
Even though life has not been as easy as it was in France for the forward yet, he has been one of the most fearful players in La Liga after scoring nine goals and providing one assist in 15 games.
He won his first trophy for the club after Real Madrid thrashed American side Pachuca 3-0 in the finals of the 2024 Club World Cup on Wednesday.
