Mohamed Salah- “As you know, this is my last year at the club”

Mohamed Salah has confirmed that 2025 is his last year at Liverpool after the club and his agency failed to reach an agreement on a new deal.

“I really want to win the Premier League this season as it’s my last year at the club. I want to give something special to the City, says Salah in an interview with SkySports.

The Egyptian reiterated. “My LAST season at Liverpool? So far, YES… it’s final 6 months and 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 from progress in talks”

“We are not close, there’s NO progress”.

Mohammed Salah’s contract renewal has not been resolved by Liverpool after fans have pleaded with the club’s hierarchy to do everything within their means to keep the Egyptian forward for at least two seasons.

The ongoing EPL season is Liverpool’s to lose as they have dropped just 9 points in 18 games. On top of the table with 45 points, 6 points ahead of the second-placed Arsenal with a game to spare, the Reds are easily winning the title although there is an entire second round to be played.

Mohamed Salah has wished to win the title for the city because he loves the place. The Egyptian is by far the best player in the top 5 European leagues after scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists in 18 matches.

Liverpool will host perennial rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.

PSG have shown keen interest in Mohamed Salah as they are willing to give him a 3-year deal worth 500k pounds per week. The Saudi PRO League have been interested in the Egyptian and will be ready to sign him to the league.
