Asante Kotoko is back to their best after winning 13 points from the last available 15 points. The 1-1 draw at the TNA Park in Takwa against Medeama in round 16 ended their winning streak, but it was a great point considering the opponent and the venue.

The club was in a mess between rounds 6 and 10 after losing four games consecutively against Legon Cities, Heart of Lions, Bechem United and Nations FC, but it is now in great form.

Next on the list is a home fixture against the red-hot Vison FC. The fans and everyone at Kotoko expect the club to win the three points against Vision FC to move higher up the table.

Speaking ahead of the club’s first visit to Kumasi in the GPL, Nana Agyeman revealed how difficult the task ahead is.

“We have probably one of the toughest games against Kotoko in Kumasi. My players need to be attentive at training and bring forth what we teach at training.”

The game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, 19th January, at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Asante Kotoko sits 6th on the log with just two points separating them and the leader’s Heart of Lions. A win could send them to the top 3.

Vision FC will need a 100% focus ahead of the game, as the gaffer, Nana Agyeman, said. The club seems to have turned the corner after struggling for quite a long time in the top flight. Vision has won two and drawn two in their last four games, so they can pose a huge threat on the day.

Nana Agyeman’s side is five clear points off of the relegation zone. They sit 11th having won 19 points from 16 games.
