The Hammers were expected to sack Spanish manager Julen Lopetegui after a disastrous first half to the season on Wednesday.
West Ham has been beaten so easily by their opponents since Lopetegui replaced David Moyes.
The club was expecting a change in play from David Moyes’ old school football to a new ultra-modern style, but things have failed to go the way the club wants.
The club officially released a statement to clear the rumours that Lopetegui was going to be sacked on Wednesday.

West Ham United can confirm that Head Coach Julen Lopetegui has today left the Club.
The first half of the 2024/25 season has not aligned with the Club’s ambitions and the Club has therefore taken action in line with its objectives.
The Club can confirm that Assistant Head Coach Pablo Sanz, Head of Performance Oscar Caro, Head Analyst Juan Vicente Peinado, Fitness Coach Borja De Alba and Technical Coach Edu Rubio have also left with immediate effect.
The Board would like to thank Julen and his staff for their hard work during their time with the Hammers and wish them every success in the future.
The process of appointing a replacement is underway.
The Club will be making no further comment at this time.
Club appoints Graham Potter
49-year-old former Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea manager Graham Potter has agreed to replace Lopetegui. With bucket loads of Premier League managerial experience, Potter is expected not to struggle to adapt to the English.
West Ham has many good players that Potter will rely on to get the team to return to where they belong. Kudus, Bowen, Paqueta, Emerson, Areola and Sumerville are expected to benefit from Potter’s free-flowing football.
