Nations FC owner Dr. Kwame Kyei condemned Nsoatreman’s killing of Pooley when Asante Kotoko visited Nsoatre in week 19 of the league.

Pooley was stabbed five times in the chest by an unknown criminal at the Nana Konamansah Park, leading to his demise. The death of Yaw Frimpong has led to the indefinite suspension of the Ghana Premier League

Expressing his view on the unfortunate fate of Pooley, the owner of Nations FC said, “We must all condemn what happened in Nsoatre”.

“Football should unite us as a nation, not promote such barbaric acts. No investor will be interested in a product like this,” Kwame Kyei added.

Football is the biggest tool that unites the world now as it has the power to bring people from all walks of life together.

The tension between Bono and Asante reached its peak ahead of the game, so the Porcupine Warriors’ visit was expected to calm things down, but it rather has escalated things.
