Ghana Premier League will continue over the weekend across the venues with leaders Asante Kotoko travelling to Samartex in a game that could have a significant impact on the league log. The Porcupine Warriors must up their game against the defending champions to secure all three points to keep the top position. Samartex won 1-0 against Nsoatreman in their last game and are full of confidence ahead of the game so Kotoko must prepare.

Young Apostles will welcome the struggling Accra Lions to the Wenchi Town Park in a match that the visitors can not afford a defeat. Accra Lions are struggling and will need the three points to boost their morale for their upcoming crucial matches in the relegation battle.

Hearts of Oak at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium will have a huge opportunity to probably move to the top of the table with a manageable game against Dreams FC. Ouattara’s men are fully charged to trouble Dreams FC.

Bechem United at Bechem Park will host Vision FC. The Bechem-based club will have every chance to return to winning ways after having a poor run recently.

Heart of Lions will entertain Karela United at the Kpando Sports Stadium, with Bashir Hayford’s side needing the three points to keep up their chase of the GPL title.

Nations FC welcomes Medeama to the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex. Nations have been playing poorly lately and must amass all three points to move higher up the pitch, but they will face tougher competition from the Yellow and Mauve.

Relegation-threatened Legon Cities will welcome Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea to the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. The Royals must target all three points to be able to get confidence in their fight against relegation.

Bibiani Gold Stars will travel to Aduana Stars in Dormaa-Ahenkro to face the inconsistent Ogya Boys. The second-place team must avoid defeat because their competitors might pick points and leave them behind.

Holy Stars’ fixture against Nsoatreman will be a game that the Nsoatre-based club must fight for at least a point. Holy Stars look set to remain in the league, albeit it’s too early, and three points against Nsoatreman will be nice.
