Every footballer has a personal ritual that he believes will help him have a good day.

Egyptian superstar Mohammed Salah has revealed his, and it is one that most young men do when they are about to do something special that will make them succeed.

Mothers are gifts to every human being. Men cherish their mothers, and Mohamed Salah is no exception.

“The last person I talk to before a match? I call my mother before every match on my way to the stadium with the team. She’s the last person I talk to and I ask her to pray for me,” Salah said.

The Egyptian has been the best forward in England and probably the entire Europe after scoring 27 goals and providing 17 assists in 29 EPL games. His secret for the blistering form might be from his dear mother, who always prays for him ahead of every game.

Liverpool will expect Mohammed Salah to lead them on Sunday to glory when they face Newcastle United in the finals of the EFL Cup at Wembley.
