English champions Liverpool have signed a perfect replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold Arnold who left the club and joined Real Madrid as a free agent.
The 24-year-old Dutch international was a regular starter for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany under Xabi Alonso. He is a versatile player who is known for his pace and finishing, and Liverpool fans expect him to link up with their superstar, Mohamed Salah, perfectly on the right-hand side.
“I’ll be alongside Mohamed Salah, I’m very lucky. I can’t wait to start playing with him, and I hope the chemistry between us is good,” Frimpong said.
Born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents, the Dutch defender revealed how lucky he is to be occupying the same area on the pitch with Salah.
