At the Koforidua Technical University TESCON Leadership Conference and Orientation, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum was confident he would change the fortunes of Ghana when he gets the chance to win the flagbearer position of the NPP, which will help him closer to his dream of becoming the president of Ghana in 2028.
“That is a useful lesson that I want people to know that there are some who talk, there are some who do, and I did not mention it before the school opened. We will change Ghana without much fanfare, we will change the nation,” Adutwum said. The former Education Minister’s words suggest some of his competitors have been talking without doing the job, but his administration will not entertain that because he wants to change Ghana.
“We have to have a vision, paint that vision to Ghanaians. Let them understand where we want to take the country”, the Bosomtwe MP said.
The NPP is under immense pressure with many gurus of the party calling for calmness ahead of the battle against the ruling NDC in the 2028 General Elections.
Big nams in the party have declared their intentions to contest for the flagbearer role with Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Osei Yaw Adutwum and Bryan Acheampong all set to contest for the big seat.
