The 2025-26 CAF Champions League will commence in September 2025, with teams currently on holiday to recharge their batteries to fight for the ultimate.

Ghana Premier League Champions, Boibiani Gold Stars who will embark on their maiden edition of the CAF Champions League has decided to use the Bab Yara Sports Stadium for all their home games.

Ghana’s inability to provide better and standard venues for CAF and FIFA organised competitions has been haunting the clubs, as Medeama and Dreams in the 2022-23 season, both teams chose the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for the games.

Medeama is a Western region-based club, whilst Dreams FC is located in the Eastern Region, but both clubs made long trips to Oseikrom for their games.

In the 2024-25 season, Nsoatreman and Samartex played their home games in the CCC and CCL at the Accra Sports Stadium which was far away from their respective home in Bono and Western Regions of Ghana.

Asante Kotok who won the MTN FA Cup plaus their home games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and are expected to host their CAF Confederation Cup marches in Kumasi.

Bibiani Gold Stars and Asante Kotoko will learn their opponents soon for the preliminary rounds of the Champions League and the Confederation Cup, respectively.
