23-year-old Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter Moliy Ama Montgomery is one of the artists across the globe whose song is being played everywhere.

Her breakthrough banger, “Shake it to the Max,” is enjoying streams and airplay, making her a very popular musician now.

In an interview with Revolt T, the Accra-born famous singer disclosed some of the secrets behind her quick rise in world music.

“The most freeing part is just getting to do what I want creatively without someone telling me what to do”, Moliy Said. The singer’s words mean that she wants the freedom to create her brand, and it is what makes her who she is now.

“I don’t just wanna be a name on a list. Music is very personal to me,” she said. Moliy has been spotted touring the world all in the name of music. Her love for music is immeasurable, according to her close pals.

“So, I think if I did get locked in with a label, I hope it’s something that could be a real, long-lasting, organic relationship.

“If you’re not pushing yourself, if you’re not putting your foot on the gas, no one is gonna do it for you,” Moliy added.

Moliy recently announced that she is in the studio with the veteran Jamaican Dancehall artist, Sean Paul, for the remix of her popular track, Shake It to the Max.
