American rapper Ja Rule collaborated with Ghanaian rapper Tiny in the studio more than ten years ago. The collaboration was done, but they failed to release it officially.
When Ja Rule visited Ghana in April 2025, he told JoyNews that he has a collaboration with a Ghanaian rapper, but he has forgotten his name because it has been ages.
“You know, it’s so funny to say that I did a record a long time ago with a Ghanaian artiste. I have forgotten his name, but this is like ten, fifteen years ago when I came over here. And we recorded right here in their studio, and it was dope,” Ja Rule said.
Tinny, in an interview on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, confirmed that he was the artist Ja Rule was speaking about.
“It was me that he was talking about”. The studio session happened years ago, and we were unable to reconnect after recording the track.
“I have a copy of the song and I’m not sure if it was ever released”, Tinny confirmed when Nana Romeo asked him whether he had a copy of it.
The two rappers met when they were on top of their game, where they released hit after hit songs, which enjoyed massive airplay.
Good Time Rules was the title of the song. Ghanaian singer Morris BabyFace also once featured Ja Rule on his song Hey Love.
