Jeffery Schlupp signs one-year loan deal with Norwich City

Ghanaian versatile player Jeffrey Schlupp has signed a one-year loan deal with English Championship side Norwich City from Crystal Palace.

The veteran left wing back who can also play as a left-back, central midfielder, left winger and forward had a successful six-month loan in Scotland with Celtic in the 2024-25 season.

The 32-year-old Ghanaian, who was born in Hamburg, joined the Eagles from Leicester City in 2017 and has made 220 appearances for the London club.

The Ghanaian expressed his delight in signing for the Canaries.

“I’m really excited to come for something new. A lot to look forward to. There’s been a lot of success recently in terms of promotion from the Championship to the Premier League. Hopefully, we can create something special this year”, Schlupp said.

Norwich City finished 13th in the last Championship season and will look forward to finishing within the top 6 to stand a chance of qualifying for the 2026-27 Premier League season.
