Police have uncovered blood stains in the living room of Bright Aweh, the suspect arrested in connection with the murder of an immigration officer, Stephen King Amoah.

Forensic investigation revealed evidence of an attempt to clean up the stains.
Police also noticed freshly sprayed walls and an empty can of spray paint in the suspect’s room.

The discoveries follow an extensive search of a specific room in the suspect’s house, where more blood stains were revealed.

The police also retrieved a fufu pestle with blood stains all over it, wrapped in polythene, in a bush 100 meters from the suspect’s house.

The police have also impounded the suspect’s vehicle, which had blood stains on it.

Bright Aweh was initially charged with kidnapping. However, in light of the recent discoveries, he has been rearrested and processes are underway to charge him with murder. He will appear in Court on August 8.

After going missing for six days, Stephen King Amoah’s body was found at Kwabeny, almost burnt to ashes.

Bright Aweh had invited Stephen to his house to settle a debt he owed the Immigration Officer. Stephen was not seen again until his body was found.
