Abdul Fatwu Issahaku, 21, who recently recovered from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury, is being considered by multiple clubs in the English Premier League.
Issahaku played in 11 games last season before his painful injury cut his campaign short. Now that he has recovered, the Ghana international has shown flashes of strong performance during preseason with Leicester City, including a fantastic solo goal against Fiorentina, which earned him much praise from teammates and fans.
Reports say that some unnamed Premier League teams are interested in signing Issahaku this transfer window.
However, Leicester City plans to keep the Ghana international as they aim to quickly return to the top division and will demand a large fee before allowing the winger to leave.
Issahaku made a permanent move to Leicester City last summer from Sporting CP after a successful year-long loan, and his current contract is set to run until 2029.
The Foxes will begin their Championship campaign with a home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday afternoon as they bid to quickly return to the top tier of English football.
