The National Communications Authority (NCA)has served Multichoice Ghana Limited with a notice of its intention to suspend the company’s operation in Ghana.

Subscribers of Multichoice DSTV in Ghana have complained bitterly about the unbearable prices of their packages compared to countries like Nigeria, South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Liberia and many other countries.

Ghana’s Communication Ministry ordered Multichoice to do justice to Ghanaians by slashing the prices of the package. However, the company has not given any response to the ministry’s concern yet.

On Thursday, 7th August 2025, the National Communications Authority of Ghana revealed a statement giving Multichoice 30 days to reduce the prices of their packages or face a suspension across the length and breadth of Ghana within 30 days.
