Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah was a step or two ahead of any forward in England in the 2024-25 season in terms of points won.

Salah won the top scorer and also provided more assists than any other player in the English top division.

The Egyptian King scored 29 goals and provided 18 assists, helping Liverpool to win their 20th league title to equal Manchester United’s long-standing record.

The 33-year-old had a good campaign that everyone was in awe of his performances, even at age 32.

At the tail end of last season, Salah’s form dipped with many doubting him to reach top form once again, but the bona fide forward has begun the new season with a bang as he scored a brilliant goal against Bournemouth last Friday at Anfield.

Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Jammie Carragher has revealed that he doesn’t believe Mohamed Salah will repeat the 29 goals he scored in the previous campaign.

“It will be difficult for Salah to repeat what he did last season in terms of goalscoring”, Carragher said.

Liverpool looked so incredible in attack but a bit weaker in defence when they faced Bournemouth, where they won 4-2.

Salah has two new teammates in Liverpool’s attack whom he is expecting to form a formidable partnership with.

Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike both joined from Bundesliga clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Frankfurt, with both players showing glimpses in their EPL debuts.

Old partners in Liverpool’s attack, Drawin Nunez and Luiz Diaz have both left for Al-Nasr and Bayern Munich in Saudi Arabia and Germany, whilst Portuguese star Diogo Jota died in a road crash.
