Police in Takoradi-Nkontompo have taken eleven people, suspected to be involved in occult practices from Accra, into custody after local residents claimed they dumped what seemed to be a human body into the ocean.

Witnesses reported that the group, wearing matching outfits with the same symbol, arrived in several vehicles and went to the beach. They were seen throwing an object into the water, which residents think was a human body.

One witness stated that locals confronted the group and asked for an explanation. During this encounter, the suspects allegedly tried to bribe the residents with money to keep quiet about it, but they refused and called the police. Officers later arrived and arrested the suspects.

Another eyewitness mentioned that a syringe, thought to have been used for drawing blood, was also discovered at the location.
