A 66-year-old palm wine tapper, Samuel Kwofie AKA Ghanaman, has allegedly been killed on his farm in Daboasi over a pipeline.

Kwofie had allegedly hired a 48-year-old man, popularly known as Akuffo Addo, to work with him on his farm.

It is said that a pipeline meant for tapping the wine went missing.

Mr. Kwofie suspected Akuffo Addo of having stolen the pipeline and confronted him, threatening to have him arrested.

The confrontation led to a misunderstanding, during which Akuffo Addo allegedly slashed the throat of his employer.

The Daboase police have since arrested Akuffo Addo.
