Popular Ghanaian TikTok creator Elvis Frimpong, widely known as Osanju, has sadly passed away at the age of 25 after a months-long fight with blood cancer (leukemia).
The young comedian, celebrated for his humorous skits about everyday Ghanaian life—often featuring his late mother, Veronica Frimpong—died on September 1, 2025, just hours after posting what would be his final video on TikTok.
According to close family sources, Osanju watched his beloved club Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday evening. After the match, he reportedly complained of a severe headache and died shortly after.
Earlier this year, Osanju revealed his leukemia diagnosis to his fans, bravely documenting his health struggles even as he continued to entertain and inspire.
His loss comes barely eight months after his mother’s passing in January, a tragedy that deeply affected him and his content.
News of his death has sparked an outpouring of grief on social media, with fans, colleagues, and fellow creators paying heartfelt tributes to his legacy.
Many described him as a bright light in Ghana’s digital community, whose journey highlighted both the fragility of life and the power of laughter to heal.
