Authorities in the Central Region are looking into a possible armed robbery at Fijai, located near Kasoa in the Gomoa East District.

The case involves a 35-year-old man named Ben Owusu, who has disappeared under unclear circumstances.

Owusu, a seller of POP, reportedly sent messages for help to his landlord and a female friend at around 2:50 a.m. while armed robbers were attacking his apartment.

Residents reported that the messages were found later in the morning, leading them to quickly go to his home, where they discovered bloodstains on the floor but no indication of his presence.

Authorities verified that his Android phone, which he used to send the messages, is missing.

Additionally, two other mobile phones and a laptop that belonged to him were found damaged.

Law enforcement has initiated a search for both the victim and the suspects.
