Bibiani Gold Stars will represent Ghana in the 2025-26 CAF Champions League, while Asante Kotoko will compete in the Confederation Cup.
The two teams ahead of their first leg ties against JS Kabylie of Algeria and Kwararare United of Nigeria respectively, made a courtesy visit to the president of Ghana to seek his blessings.
President John Dramani Mahama donates 50,000 dollars to each of the teams to ease the financial burden both teams will encounter in their campaigns.
The president wished them. The best of luck and motivated them to fight to lift the flag of Ghana.
Bobiani Gold Stars will face JSK at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon while Asante Kotoko will also host Nigerian side Keara at the same venue and time on Sunday.
