Week 4 of the Ghana Premier League will kick off at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem. Winless Bechem United will welcome the glorious Accra Hearts of Oak in a must-win game for the home side. After failing to win any of their three opening games, Bechem United can not afford to go four weeks without a single win, as it will be catastrophic. Hearts of Oak, on the other hand, recovered from their poor matchday one goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium against the newly promoted Hohoe United with a back-to-back victories over Dreams and Eleven Wonders.

On Saturday, All Black of Sweduru will have the opportunity to record another win at home against the bruised Bibiani Gold Stars. The Sweduru-based side is full of confidence meeting the defending champions.

Seven games will be played on Sunday across the various league centres, with Asante Kotoko welcoming the dangerous Heart of Lions. Bashir Hayford against Karim Zito will be the battle of the big brains at the Kumasi Sports Stadium, with football fans expecting an exciting fixture.

Samuel Boadu is under pressure after zero wins in the first three games so far. The former Medeama and Hearts of Oak coach must beat Holy Stars to have the full backing of Chelsea’s board after rumours of a rift between them. Holy Stars have drawn the two games they have played and must start converting their chances to turn the draws into victories.

Surprisingly, Dreams FC have lost all three games in the league. The Still Believe are last on the league log with the visit of Vision FC, a win-or-die affair. Vision have won just one game away since they won promotion to the top flight in 2024.

Eleven Wonders can move out of the relegation zone with a win in their home game against Young Apostles. The Wenchi club have won an incredible 4 points and sits in 7th. A win at Eleven Wonders will send them higher up the table.

Karela United could easily be the most difficult team to break down in the Ghana Premier League after matchday 3. Nurudeen Amadu’s side is sitting in second place with just two points separating them from the leaders, Heart of Lions. Hohoe United are yet to record their first win of the season and must play above their usual standards to clinch victory.

Medeama smashed Vision into pieces when they hosted them at the Tarkwa TNA Park. They will be buoyed by that performance against Nations FC on Sunday. The Mauve & Yellow narrowly lost 1-0 at Karela in week 2 and will quickly want to bounce back to winning ways. Nations FC sit in 6th place and can not be underestimated in Tarkwa.

Samartex at the Nsenkyire Park in Samraboi will welcome Aduana Stars. The Ogya Boys look like they have settled down in the current campaign after enduring an unbelievable campaign in the last season. Samartex are yet to hit their standards and can kick it off with a win against Aduana Stars.
