Obeng Junior is enjoying life in Kpando after an indifferent moment in Accra with Hearts of Oak.
The striker has started all Heart of Lions’ three games in the Ghana Premier League so far.
The club has beaten Bechem United, Eleven Wonders and Dreams FC emphatically.
They are targeting another win against The Porcupine Warriors on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
Kwadwo Obeng Junior is optimistic that they have what it takes to take all three points to the Volta Region.
“We are going to play our fourth league match against Asante Kotoko, and thankfully, we have started on a good note, so we are going all out against Kotoko in Kumasi, and we have to collect points from there,” Obeng Junior said on Mo TV.
The striker is bullish ahead of the Oseikrom visit, revealing that they have to at least steal a point.
“It’s not a difficult game; we take the game one after the other, and we have cleared three hurdles, and Kotoko is the fourth, so we have to add Kotoko to the casualties”, he added.
Obeng Junior believes the trip to Kumasi is not a difficult one because they have all the arsenals to pip Asante Kotoko.
Obeng Junior talked about Karim Zito’s current team by comparing it to last season.
“They have the same team as last season, so it’s a difficult task, and we also have a strong team because we finished second last season, so it doesn’t matter the quality Kotok has”, he concluded.
Heart of Lions are the best team currently, and Asante Kotoko will have to improve upon their performance before they can break them down.
