Gifted Ghanaian highlife singer and songwriter Akwaboah has assured his fans and music lovers in Ghana that he is very well, physically.

Many Ghanaians have expressed their concerns about the looks of Akwaboah recently.

In an interview on Adom TV, the singer was asked about the state of his health.

He said, “Yes, I’m very well paa. By God’s grace, I’m very well”.

Akwaboah said when he was questioned about his current status compared to when he first burst into the music scene, “You cannot look the same way you looked when you first joined the music industry”.

Akwaboah’s weight becomes a huge topic for debate whenever his picture or video pops up on social media.

“My weight gain shows in my tummy, cheeks, and thighs, and I personally don’t like it, so I try to work on it,” he revealed, stating that he sometimes eats garlic before he sleeps at night to help him control.

Alkwaboah is known for songs Posti Me, Try Me, Gangsta Lovin, and Bring Back the Love, among so many other hit songs.
