Antoine Semenyo, 25, has been crowned the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month for September 2025, following a string of electrifying performances for Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

The Ghanaian forward’s impact was undeniable, contributing heavily to his club’s unbeaten run during the month.

Semenyo played every minute of Bournemouth’s league fixtures in September, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the three games he played.

His brilliant brace against Fulham was in the first week of October, and it certainly played a key role in the decision makers’ choice, even though it was not part of the month.

The award, voted for by fans across England, reflects Semenyo’s growing popularity and recognition beyond Ghana.

His performances have not only helped Bournemouth climb to fourth place on the Premier League table but also sparked comparisons with elite forwards like Erling Haaland.

Semenyo’s current form has helped him score 26 Premier League goals, pushing him past the great Tony Yeboah to become Ghana’s second-highest scorer in the competition’s history behind Leicester City forward Jordan Ayew, who has scored 46 goals.

As the season progresses, Semenyo’s form will be crucial for both Bournemouth, who will be eager to secure a place in European football next season and the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he is expected to play a very crucial role in the USA-Canada-Mexico.

Clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are already planning to sign the fantastic Ghanaian forward.
