The draw for the 2025-26 CAF Champions League was conducted in Johannesburg in the studios of SuperSport, with former Arsenal skipper Alex Song the conductor.
The much-awaited draw, as usual, did not disappoint, with defending champions Pyramids drawing in Group A to face Confederation Cup winners RS Berkan,e whom they recently defeated in the CAF Super Cup.
Nigerian debutants Rivers United and Power Dynamos from Zambia, who are also making their maiden appearance in the group stage, complete Group A.
Group B is unquestionably the group of death, with Tanzania side Young Africans landing Al Ahly of Egypt, the most successful team in the competition. Also, Moroccan side FAR Rabat and Algerian giants JSK complete the group, with the Morocco-Algeria rivalry expected to be renewed.
Group C has Sundowns from South Africa, Al Hilal from Sudan, MC Alger from Algeria and debutants Saint-Eloi Lupopo from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In Group D, we will face Simba SC from Tanzania, Petro Luanda from Angola and Stade Malien from Mali.
