1. Kari Zito beats brother Mas-Ud Didi Dramani

It was the third meeting between the two in the Super Clash since the end of last season, with Abdul-Karim Zito recording two wins and losing one against his brother and time friend Didi Dramani. Zito revealed the relation between the two since their days in 2012 when they were working for Kotoko. The two put aside the bromance and challenged for the three points with Zito’s Kotoko winning the game via Donzo’s spot kick on the stroke of half-time.

2. Holy Stars beat Bibiani Gold Stars to buy time for under fire Evans Adotey

Evans Augustine Adotey was on the brink of losing his job after failing to secure a win in any of the first eight games. In the ninth game of the season, Holy Stars defeated the defending Champions, Gold Stars, with a penalty from Prince Agyeman and a strike from Prince Tweneboah in the 40th and 45th minutes, respectively. Holy Stars have moved out of the bottom place and are two points behind 15th-place Sweduru All Blacks

3. Eleven Wonders are sinking freely

Eleven Wonders are in a real mess after losing their 7th game of the season, with just two draws the only better results in the nine games played. Vision defeated the beleaguered Eleven Wonders 2-1 with 10 men, much to the disappointment of the club’s hierarchy. Wonders struck first but watched as Vision played with 10 men for around 65 minutes. Eleven Wonders need massive changes to start their season.

4. Top of the table clash ends in a goalless draw

The in-form Aduana Stars were in full confidence when facing Medeama SC on Saturday afternoon at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park. Dormaa Ahenkro has become a haven once again for the Ogya Boys, but failed to beat Medeama to extend their lead over the Mauve and Yellow. The two teams are still occupying the first and second slots after matchday 9, with just a point separating the two.
