It was clear that Moroccan and Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi was going to pip Egyptian and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, as well as Nigerian and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, for the coveted Men’s Player of the Year award.
