Aduana Stars will make a long trip to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in the opening fixture of the weekend. The Ogya Boys surprisingly drew goalless at Dormaa-Ahenkro against Hohoe United. They can’t afford to make two consecutive games without a win. Heart of Lions suffered their first defeat in seven league games at Nations FC in Abrankese. The goalless draw at home to Karela was abysmal, per their home form. Lions will look forward to downing Aduana at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

Hearts of Oak have settled the three-month debt of the players and the technical team after many blamed it for being the reason the club is struggling. Fans expect the team to bounce back to winning ways on Saturday when they welcome Nations FC. Nations FC under Frimpong Manso are picking up the pieces after struggling under Kasim Mingle.

On Sunday, Samartex will travel to Holy Stars, who are improving game after game. The club have won two, drawn two and lost only one in their last five games. Holy Stars will move higher up the table if they are able to beat Samartex, having moved out of the relegation zone. Samartex sits 6th on the table after beating Gold Stars 2-0 on matchday 13 at the Nsenkyire Park. A victory will push them higher up the table, but they have to improve their away performances to break down Basake Holy Stars.

Asante Kotoko are under pressure and must beat Dreams at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to calm nerves down. Having triumphed 2-1 over Future Stars at Okese Park in Ejisu in the MTN FA Cup, fans expect the Porcupine Warriors to use the win as turning point. Kotoko are winless in the last four GPL games.

Vision FC are winless in five league games. They will travel to Sweduru to face All Blacks, who secured a second away win of the season at Eleven Wonders.

Berekum Chelsea will welcome the much-confident Hohoe United, who narrowly defeated Asante Kotoko. Bechem United will face Eleve Wonders at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Beche,m while Young Apostles will host Karela at the Wenchi Town Park.
