A man who has been misleading people into believing he can assist them in travelling to Europe for better opportunities has swindled a friend’s boyfriend out of GHC70,000.
Aaron Baron was introduced to Maxwell Ohemeng by his girlfriend. Maxwell Ohemeng became a victim and lost GHC70,000 due to several of Aaron Baron’s fraudulent schemes.
Maxwell describes that he paid Aron different amounts of GHC15,000, GHC23,800, and GHC30,000 after assuring him of jobs in Poland, Belarus, and Spain, which did not happen.
Maxwell had missed the opportunity to recognise that he had been deceived.
He stated that he asked for a refund, which Aron agreed to provide on January 15, 2026.
After the deadline passed, Aron, who had been making excuses, turned off his mobile phone, and all efforts made by Maxwell and his girlfriend to get in touch with Baron has been unsuccessful.
