Sammy Flex, Public Relations Manager for the Shatta Movement, has confirmed that the camp of dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has received a court document linked to the proposed transfer of the artiste’s seized Lamborghini to the United States.

According to Sammy Flex, the document was issued at the request of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and seeks Shatta Wale’s formal consent for the shipment of his yellow Lamborghini to the US.

In a statement shared on social media on February 24, 2026, Sammy Flex confirmed receipt of the document and assured fans that the matter is now firmly in the hands of the artiste’s lawyers.

“I wish to formally confirm, in my capacity as Public Relations Manager of Shatta Movement, that we have received a court document issued at the instance of EOCO regarding a request for Shatta Wale’s consent in relation to the shipment of the yellow Lamborghini to the United States of America,” he stated.

He added that the team is allowing due process to take its course.

“The matter has been duly referred to our legal representatives, who are handling it through the appropriate legal channels. We appreciate your understanding,” the statement concluded.

EOCO seized the 2019 Lamborghini Urus from Shatta Wale’s residence on August 5, 2025.

In a press release signed by its Acting Executive Director, Raymond Archer, the agency said the move followed a June 2025 operation triggered by a request dating back to 2023 from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the United States Department of Justice.

EOCO explained that its Surveillance and Asset Recovery Unit (SARU) traced and confiscated the luxury vehicle after US authorities allegedly linked it to proceeds from the criminal activities of Nana Kwaber Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month prison sentence in the United States for multiple financial crimes.

The agency further indicated that Shatta Wale was unable to provide documents proving ownership or evidence that the vehicle had been lawfully acquired.

In an earlier statement dated August 21, 2025, EOCO said the artiste could not identify the seller of the car, claiming the transaction had been initiated via WhatsApp but that he no longer had the contact details.

As it stands, the issue remains under legal review, with all parties awaiting the next steps from the courts.
