Ghana international Frank Acheampong has completed a move to Dalian Yingbo FC from fellow Chinese Super League side Henan FC.
The transfer follows an impressive 2025 campaign in which Acheampong finished as Henan’s most influential attacking player, registering 17 goal involvements, the highest in the squad. His consistent performances once again underlined his value and experience in the Chinese top flight.
A finalist at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with Ghana, Acheampong has built a reputation for pace, direct running and an eye for goal throughout his career. Now, he begins a new chapter with Dalian Yingbo, where expectations will be high for him to replicate or even surpass last season’s output.
The move keeps the winger in the Chinese Super League, where he has become one of the most recognisable African figures in recent years.
