Atta Boakye, Bechem United’s supporters chairman on AP Radio/TV was in a jubilant mood in an interview about his beloved Bechem United.

When quizzed about the transfer news of the club heading towards the 2024-25 season, Atta Boakye confirmed that four youngsters from Bechem United will leave for Europe.

“Clinton Duodu has travelled to Turkey to sign for a UEFA Champions League side,” Atta Boakye said on AP Sports Extra.

In the Guardians 2022 Top 60 youngsters to watch out for in their Next Gen Series, Ghana’s Clinton Duodu, Amadu Balde of Guinea Bissau, Yassine Khalifa of Morocco and Sifumba Luphumlo of South Africa were the Africans on the list.

Bayer Munich’s Mathys Tel, Arder Guler of Real Madrid and Rennes Desire Doue well all on that list.

It shows how talented Clinton Duodu is. The forward has had two seasons with the Bechem-based club and has continued his development.

The youngster is in Turkey for a bumper deal, per Bechem United’s Supporters Chairman, Atta Boakye.

Galatasaray and Fernabache are the Turkish Super Lig clubs to play in the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.
