A sprayer has been arrested and detained by the Akropong Police near Abuakwa in the Ashanti Region, with the complainant becoming the accused.

Frimpong initially informed the police that a person named Nana Amankwa Junior had stabbed him with a nail, resulting in injuries to his forehead. He then requested that the police apprehend the offender to hold them accountable under the law.

After receiving a police medical form to obtain medical care and report back to the authorities, Frimpong reportedly decided to take matters into his own hands by violently assaulting Junior in retaliation. On Wednesday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 10:15 AM, Ernest Frimpong, a sprayer living in Atwima Koforidua, went to the Akropong Station with injuries to his forehead. He stated that earlier that day, around 8:30 AM, an individual named Junior stabbed him with a nail, resulting in the injury.

He was given a Medical Report Form to go to the hospital for treatment and to follow up on further actions. Approximately ten minutes later, the Akropong Police were informed that the complainant, Ernest, had stabbed and cut Junior several times on the head, and that Junior was in critical condition at a clinic in Atwima Koforidua.

The police arrived at the clinic in Atwima Koforidua, where they found the victim, Nana Amankwa Junior, in the emergency ward. He had serious deep cuts on his head and thigh and was in critical condition while receiving medical treatment. A Police Medical Report Form was provided to the victim for confirmation. Due to the severity of his injuries, Ernest Frimpong has been treated and taken into custody to help with the investigation.
