Boxing fans immediately call for a rematch after the ring announcer announced that Worldwide had beaten Freezy McBones at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Legon.

The underdog was declared the winner, winning the WBA Africa Light Heavyweight Championship via a unanimous decision. All three judges ruled in favour of Worldwide, much to the shock of boxing fans.

It has since generated an unbelievable debate, and calls for a rematch get intensified with McBones much determined to avenge the shocking defeat, which was his first in 11 professional bouts.

Jonathan Worldwide Tetteh has revealed that he will fight McBones again only if the British-based boxer offers him a whopping $25 million.

The bout on 20th December 2025 could easily be the most-watched boxing in Ghana in almost a decade.

Fans have been calling for the rematch and will happily want it in 2026 Christmas.

Seth Gyimah, popularly known as Freezy McBones, returned to winning ways after he bounced back strongly with a sensational victory on Easter Sunday, knocking out Nigeria’s Jamiu Animashaun in just 57 seconds at Laboma Beach Resort in Accra.

Jonathan “Worldwide” Tetteh’s also on Easter Sunday at Laboma Beach Resort in Accra, defeated Abdul Aziz Quartey “The Punisher” by stoppage in Round 5 to successfully defend his National Light Heavyweight title.
